Snail Games seeks a Paid Media Specialist to design, execute, and manage creative advertising campaigns for the SaltyTV app and its IPs. The role requires extensive experience in campaign development, optimization, and management, with fluency in data tracking, social media, and campaign analysis. Responsibilities include conceptualizing and leading campaigns across various media channels, establishing KPIs, managing budgets and reporting, conducting market research, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of vertical episodic dramas, market trends, and advertising methods targeting females aged 18-45, with experience in app-based organizations bridging Western and non-Western markets. This is a full-time, on-site position in Beverly Hills.

  • Understanding of short-form romantic dramas
Good to have:
  • Experience with ReelShort, FlexTV, etc.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly strategic and innovative paid media and growth marketing specialist to design, execute, and manage fundamentally creative advertising campaigns across varied channels and platforms in order to elevate the performance of the SaltyTV APP and all SaltyTV vertical IPs.

The ideal candidate will be fully ingrained in the world of vertical episodic dramas, having a deep understanding and appreciation for the tropes, trends, and subject matter that consistently perform in the space, as well as the buzz-worthy multimedia advertising methods that propel the top IPs to success.

Please note, this is not an entry-level position and requires extensive experience in campaign development, optimization, and management, as well as fluency in data tracking, social media, and campaign analysis.

Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in similar roles for app-based organizations bridging the Western and non-Western vertical drama markets, including ReelShort, FlexTV, DramaBox, ShortMax, GalateaTV, Playlet, and DreameShort.

This is a full-time exempt position, onsite at our Beverly Hills offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, pitch, execute, and lead campaigns across varied media channels and platforms including social, display and out-of-home campaigns in order to drive brand and IP awareness, as well as directly impact business goals.
  • Launch varying paid strategies based on differing global markets and what has the highest probability of success across each.
  • Establish campaign KPIs, actively monitoring during and post-campaign in order to continually optimize campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Introduce creative, buzz-worthy go-to-market strategies directly targeting key consumers and primary audience cohorts.
  • Manage the paid media budget and all related reporting, providing daily, weekly, and monthly insights to Interactive Films’ Marketing Director and relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct daily keyword and website research, ad grouping, and audience targeting to ensure our messaging is reaching its intended recipients.
  • Collaborate effectively with Interactive Films’ Marketing, Production, Social Media, and Creative Teams in order to leverage our highest-quality episodes, assets, IPs, behind-the-scenes footage, and more to optimize advertisements.
  • Stay in-the-know of competitor approaches, market trends, top-performing media, and more to ensure SaltyTV is not only reaching the bar, but exceeding it.

Requirements:

4+ years in paid media advertising and strategy, preferably within the vertical drama market.

Proven track record of developing 360 marketing campaigns and paid media strategies with a strong portfolio. Accompanying performance data on executed campaigns is a plus.

Experience making data-driven decisions to launch, improve, and optimize campaigns.

Proactive and solutions-oriented with the ability to act quickly, back recommendations with data, and present innovative alternatives if issues arise.

Fluency in pop-culture, an eye for visual design, and expertise within social media trends and advertising methods that directly impact females 18-45.

Must have thorough understanding and appreciation for short-form romantic dramas, episodic storytelling, and made-for-mobile digital content. Proven expertise working within web series, vertical series, and mobisode production is a plus.
