This position focuses on the development, prototyping, failure analysis, and characterization of display panels for future Apple products. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams including panel design, process, device, and optical engineers. Responsibilities include evaluating and analyzing trade-offs of panel designs and architectures, defining panel technology development scope and requirements, establishing panel requirements with stakeholders, and defining electrical and optical architectures. The job also entails electrical and optical characterization of displays, conducting failure analysis, and defining corrective action DOEs.

Job Details

This position is focused on the development, prototyping, failure analysis, and characterization of display panels for future Apple products, while collaborating with cross-functional teams featuring a diverse engineering roster including panel design, process, device, and optical engineers. The role requires the successful candidate to: - Evaluate and analyze trade-offs of state of the art panel designs, architecture, and related processes - Define panel technology development scope, requirements, and roadmap - Collaborate with cross functional stake-holders to establish panel requirements - Define panel electrical and optical architectures that enable the best display performance through total system optimization including pixel/panel design and process, interaction between backplane and frontplane, and frontplane architecture. - Electrical and optical characterization of displays, conduct failure analysis and define corrective action DOEs
