As a Partner Account Manager in Finland, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and growing partnerships to drive company revenue. This role involves business planning, channel management, enablement, sales coaching, marketing, and forecasting, requiring collaboration with various internal teams. You will act as a trusted advisor to strategic partners, providing strategic advice and coaching to help them achieve their sales and marketing objectives. Key responsibilities include owning short-term and long-term goals for Channel partners in Finland and Baltic countries, developing territory channel development plans, recruiting new partners, managing resources, tracking activities in CRM, and fostering strong relationships within partner organizations. You will also promote partners' capabilities internally and host events to keep them informed about new products and programs.

Partner Account Manager–Finland (Helsinki)
 
Position Overview:
As a member of our Channel Team, you will play a crucial role in managing, developing, and growing our partnerships, directly impacting our company's revenue. Our Partner Account Managers oversee all activities related to business planning, channel management, enablement, sales coaching, marketing, and forecasting. This multi-faceted role involves collaborating with colleagues from Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Channel, Distribution, Operations, and other teams to achieve revenue targets. Join our team to build and manage relationships with our partners as a trusted advisor at every level. You will provide strategic advice, coaching, and ensure our strategic partners have the support they need to achieve their sales and marketing objectives.
 
Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Goals: Own short-term and long-term goals for Channel partners in Finland and Baltic countries (Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia).
  • Channel Development Plan: Develop and manage the territory channel development plan, map tiered partners against opportunities, identify gaps, and recruit and onboard new partners.
  • Resource Management: Include channel teammate resources in planning, such as channel marketing, channel sales engineers, channel operations, and others as appropriate.
  • Partner Engagement: Involve partners' resources in planning, securing their commitment to the account plan and associated activities and investments.
  • Activity Tracking: Track all major activities with partners through CRM (SFDC) and monitor partners' sales activities for Extreme opportunities in CRM (SFDC).
  • Relationship Building: Maintain day-to-day visibility and timely responses within accounts, fostering strong relationships within the partner's organization.
  • Internal Evangelism: Enhance partners' visibility and perception within Extreme’s sales organization and promote partners’ capabilities and competencies internally.
  • Sales Updates: Facilitate regular sales updates with partners' resources, including technical updates, to keep them informed about our solutions and sales strategies.
  • Partner Events: Host regular events for channel partners to review new Extreme Networks products or programs, provide updates, address training concerns, and discuss marketing activities and any issues that need to be addressed.
Requirements:
  • Strong English and Finish language skills
  • Based in Finland (preferably Helsinki/Espoo area; relocation not included)
  • Experience in reseller/channel sales; MSP experience is advantageous
  • Strong business acumen, understanding partner go-to-market strategies and economics
  • Ability to interpret financial statements and understand partners' key success criteria, aligning our business with theirs
  • Willingness to travel within the region
