About the role

As a Sales Development Representative at SchoolAI, you’ll be one of the first human touchpoints for the partners we serve. You’ll connect with educators, administrators, and district leadership to understand their needs—and introduce them to the impact SchoolAI can bring to their classrooms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, finds energy in solving meaningful problems, and wants to grow quickly in a mission-driven startup.

You’ll be on the frontlines of a movement to make school awesome every day—qualifying leads into the pipeline and collaborating with a tight-knit team that values curiosity, craft, and clarity.

What you'll do

  • Prospect into K-12 schools and districts using email, phone, social, and creative outreach strategies.
  • Qualify inbound interest and generate outbound pipeline that aligns with SchoolAI’s ideal customer profile.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to refine messaging, hand off qualified opportunities, and improve conversion rates.
  • Capture insights from the field to help us better understand educator needs and shape how we tell the SchoolAI story.
  • Track activity and progress in HubSpot to ensure transparency, alignment, and momentum.
  • Experiment with new channels, tactics, and tools—we’re not afraid to try things, measure fast, and scale what works.

Qualifications

  • Stellar communicator with a warm, clear, and confident style—whether over email, phone, or Zoom.
  • Intellectually curious and eager to learn: about schools, our tech, and how to sell effectively.
  • Organized and proactive. You don’t wait for permission—you simplify and go.
  • Experience in education, ed-tech, or sales is a plus, but not required. Former teachers, career changers, and first-time SDRs welcome.
  • Driven by mission and momentum—you want your work to matter and your team to win.

This is more than just a sales role—it’s a chance to be part of a team that’s reimagining what school can feel like. You’ll help bring cutting-edge AI to classrooms in ways that actually help students, teachers, and administrators. You’ll grow fast, learn a ton, and work alongside people who care deeply about doing great work that matters. If you’re ready to rise to the moment, make magic, and help shape the future of education—we’d love to meet you.
