The Parts Manager leads the French parts organization, ensuring parts availability for service teams and long-term growth. Responsibilities include managing supply chain activities (parts flow, order accuracy, inventory), developing and implementing parts operations strategies, coaching a leadership team, reviewing KPIs, and collaborating with other Country Parts leaders across EMEA. The role requires strong communication, data analysis, and team management skills, along with experience in the automotive industry (parts and supply chain preferred). Significant travel (80%+) across France is expected.

What to Expect

The Parts Manager is responsible for leading the French parts organization to ensure all parts operations and parts are available for their service teams and maintain a long-term growth projection in terms of resources and headcounts. This position will require traveling to various service centers within the French region as well as maintaining tight communications with the service leadership.  


The Parts Manager is responsible for ensuring all supply chain-related activities within their region are working efficiently and as intended. This includes fast and predictable parts flow from distribution centers, accurate parts orders, and high inventory accuracy from the field, achieving inventory turn targets and adherence to key operational KPIs.  


What You’ll Do
  • Responsible for the service parts organization in the country
  • Direct and focus available resources to ensure parts teams operate effectively and efficiently.   
  • Develop and drive strategic decisions for the parts organization to meet current and future business needs  
  • Work with a broader supply chain distribution leadership team to develop and deploy an end-to-end parts operations strategy   
  • Select and coach a leadership team, giving them tools and clear objectives so they can help the local Service Centers be successful and meet their targets.  
  • Effectively communicate and motivate teams, as well as adapt to the changing needs of the company  
  • Regularly review country KPIs, identifying trends and reviewing in more detail with managers if required to quickly address any negative trends or issues  
  • Proactively lead a team of supervisors, being present in the field and ensuring they are empowered to make the right local decisions to drive the business forward  
  • Connect and work closely with other Country Parts leaders across EMEA, discussing daily operations, and field operations, to optimize best practices throughout the region  
  • Have excellent relationships with all service managers across the region  
  • Carry out quarterly performance and development reviews with managers, understanding what is needed for them to develop their role, setting clear goals, expectations, and follow-ups  
  • Constantly assess potential parts improvements  
  • Manage financials from a distribution perspective for the country, maintaining an overview of cost savings, employee expenses, operational costs, profit and loss and revenue  
  • Lead the region to expand and grow, including mobile service parts operations and new service locations  
  • Present and pitch to senior leadership and your teams on strategic initiatives to be implemented within the distribution area for your country  
  • Liaise closely with broader business areas including, but not limited to, Service, Delivery, EHS, HR, Recruitment, ensuring a strong network of peers  
  • Travel to different centers within your region  


What You’ll Bring
  • A proven background in leading an organization or region to meet operational and strategic targets  
  • Robust experience in people and team management. An open and approachable leadership style, with experience in leading, motivating, and coaching managers  
  • Experience within the automotive industry is desired, parts and supply chain are required  
  • Ability to find, organize, and manipulate data for decision-making and action-taking purposes. A background of interrogating numbers and identifying correlations  
  • Excellent organization skills, with experience in high-level reporting  
  • Experience working in an agile environment, where you have responded quickly to changing business needs  
  • Proven experience of successful delegation to achieve results  
  • Ability to move between a high-level, holistic business approach and communicating with employees on a grass-roots level  
  • Excellent communication level in English and French language
  • Ability to travel >80% across the market and region 
  • Valid driving license & travel required
