Parts Quality Inspector

This role is crucial within Tesla's Supply Chain Operations at the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg. The Parts Quality Inspector will manage incoming parts inspections, sorting, rework, material disposition, and oversee 3rd party contractors. Responsibilities include daily inspection plan control at an external warehouse, supervising service providers, managing RTV processes, conducting monthly inventory cycles, initiating sorting/rework activities, collaborating with various departments (Production, Quality, Supplier Industrialization, Design, and Suppliers), monitoring key performance metrics to reduce open sorts/reworks and MRB inventory, and maintaining an audit program to ensure standardized procedures. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of experience in a technology manufacturing environment, strong leadership and organizational skills, proficiency in using business system applications and data interpretation, and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices.
