Payment Architecture Senior Product Manager - Global Payment

Team Introduction The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. Responsibilities - Research and analyze the overseas payment regulatory requirements according to ByteDance's internationalization strategy. Assist the Compliance team in building a global business entity development plan for the International Payments Department to ensure that the international business meets the regulatory requirements of each country; - Familiar with the payment platform architecture, design the overall product solution of platform to meet the requirements of business entities in various countries in information flow, data storage, and fund flow. And as the project owner, work closely with the subdomain team to jointly analyse and implement the subdomain function changes to ensure the full implementation of the solution; - Lead the business entity and server room data migration projects from the Business and Compliance team, design the platform solutions and complete the implementation; - Track the situation of the global business entity development plan running on the platform, timely identify and solve problems, in order to continuously guarantee the compliance of international business.

Minimum Qualifications: - Familiar with overseas payment regulations and data privacy policies. Experienced in designing business architecture for overseas multinational entities and application of acquirer or wallet licenses are preferred; - Excellent ability in product designing and documentation, strong logical thinking, good at abstracting and summarizing; - Independent thinking and problem solving, strong execution ability, goal-oriented mindset, good coordination and communication skills; - Fluent communication skills and global stakeholder collaboration and management skills; Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years experience in the payment industry, with knowledge of payment/ wallet/ card/ settlement/ digital banking related products; - Technical background is preferred ByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
