People Analytics Intern, PhD, Summer 2025: This internship involves designing and implementing studies, analyzing data, reporting research results to a business audience, and communicating findings to influence leaders. Responsibilities include writing research briefs and conducting statistical analyses (correlation, regression, factor analysis, T-tests, ANOVA) using survey and archival data in R. The internship is full-time for 12 weeks during the summer of 2025. Candidates must be enrolled in a PhD program in a relevant field (I/O Psychology, Organizational Behavior, etc.) and have experience with research design, data analysis (R, SPSS, STATA), and statistical methods. Preferred qualifications include applied research experience in organizations and experience with advanced statistical techniques (factor analysis, network analysis, etc.).
Must have:
  • PhD enrollment in relevant field
  • Survey/experimental research design
  • Data analysis in R, SPSS, or STATA
  • Statistical analysis (regression, ANOVA etc.)
  • Communication of findings
Good to have:
  • Applied research in organizations
  • Advanced statistical methods (factor analysis, etc.)
  • R for statistical analysis and visualization
  • SQL or other scripting languages
  • Experience in DEI, performance management etc.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Personality Psychology, Social Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience designing, developing, and conducting survey or experimental research.
  • Experience analyzing and manipulating data in R, SPSS, STATA, or other statistical languages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Currently attending a degree program in the US and available to work full time for 12 weeks outside of university term time.
  • Experience conducting applied research in organizations.
  • Topical experience in one of the following areas: performance management, individual and team-level performance and productivity, individual difference (e.g., personality traits, behaviors, well-being), DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), selection and assessment (including relevant psychometric methods), decision science and behavior change, or quantitative text analysis.
  • Experience with statistical analyses, including fundamentals (e.g., ANOVAs or regressions) and with one or more advanced approaches (e.g., factor analysis, network analysis, HLM, SEM).
  • Experience using R for statistical analysis and data visualization.
  • Experience in SQL or other scripting languages and experience with future proofing code to be long lasting (e.g. detailed documentation).

We have strong research backgrounds, with PhDs in I/O Psychology, Organizational Behavior (micro & macro), Sociology, Social Psychology, Anthropology, Behavioral Economics, and related fields.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $92,000-$109,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
