Aristocrat seeks a People & Culture Business Partner in Macau to support its Asia region. This role involves partnering with Asia leaders on strategic people and culture initiatives, driving performance management, and collaborating with Centers of Excellence (COEs) on talent, rewards, and employee experience. Responsibilities include identifying P&C priorities, providing oversight for operational and strategic talent agendas, implementing performance management best practices, supporting change management, understanding regional market trends, supporting remuneration and benefits processes, and leading action planning based on employee surveys and DEI strategies. The ideal candidate possesses at least 7 years of relevant HR experience in Asia, strong business acumen, and excellent relationship management skills.

Our People and Culture engagement model is built on a strong regional foundational model with senior-level business partners engaging with our Executive Leadership team on strategic people and culture matters while working with the centers of excellence โ€“ talent, rewards, and MyP&C for implementation and execution of the people strategy. We are seeking a People & Culture Business Partner based in Macau to partner very closely with business leaders in the Asia region to accomplish the people and culture outcomes in the region.

What You'll Do

  • Works under the leadership of the APAC Talent Lead to identify P&C priorities for the Asia region.

  • Provides P&C support across initiatives by partnering with Asia leaders to examine the people impact of exploring new business opportunities or creating existing efficiencies/growth plans of the region.

  • Supports the regional leadership on the ground by providing P&C oversight and partnership for both operational and strategic talent agenda items.  

  • Drive performance management best practices to ensure that talent is enabled to be successful in their roles.

  • Partner and seek support from the talent and reward COEs to problem solve people's problems in the region that require support from the COE.

  • Help leaders identify opportunities for changes within their groups. Support them through the change by providing sound business recommendations considering talent and business requirements.

  • Bring awareness of competitive environments and market and labor trends in the Asia region.

  • Support the Remuneration and Benefits team with the implementation of the annual remuneration review process; help ensure global mobility is conducted in a fair and standardized manner.

  • Lead the action planning process and implementation of successful strategies to address any issues identified by Aristocratโ€™s global employee survey and our DEI Strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in human resources generalist/ business partner or similar role in Asia.

  • Good knowledge of generalist human resources best practices and/or expert knowledge in one or more human resources functional areas.

  • Good business acumen: knowledge of business strategy, key financial and business drivers.

  • Able to link people initiatives to business needs.

  • Good understanding of commercial acumen to deliver thought leadership to the local and global business.

  • Ability to develop and implement HR programs and procedures.

  • Excellent organizational skills, including an ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.

  • Relationship management and influencing skills.
