As a People Operations Specialist, you will support the People Team in managing employee lifecycle events like onboarding, job changes, and separations through our internal employee case management systems and our HRIS system, Workday. In this role, you’ll respond to employees, managers, and other internal stakeholders based on service-level agreements and best practices. You will contribute to process improvement, and through operational excellence will help DraftKings achieve the best results.
You will be responsible for employee lifecycle processes and documentation: hirings, terminations, time off and leave of absence management, addendums, etc.
Working with internal company HCM system – Workday
Resolving employees’ queries through the Freshservice ticketing system
Handling onboarding for new hires
Closely collaborating with Finance, Payroll, People, Legal teams, and other stakeholders from the business
People Operations Auditing and reporting
Stock Grant auditing
Providing administrative support to People team members, managers, and employees
Monitoring changes in local employment legislation
Participating in systems configuration changes, projects, and meetings to help roll out new processes
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in HR Management, Economics, or Business Administration
Professional experience – at least 2 years in the same or similar position
Fluency in English language
Excellent communication skills
Collaborative, positive, and people-oriented personality
Workday or similar HCM experience preferred
