People Partner, EMEA
About the opportunity
Reporting directly to the Global HR Director, this exciting role will support the people strategy and initiatives for EMEA in collaboration with the business leaders and the People Team to ensure that priorities impacting people are aligned to the business or functional strategy/ priorities, are defined, developed and deployed.
Who You Will Work With
This position is regional in scope. In collaboration with the Functional People Partners and the COE Leads, you will ensure that priorities impacting people are aligned to the business or regional strategy/priorities, are defined, developed and deployed for EMEA. You’ll have the opportunity to partner with senior leaders and Executive team members to drive transformation that will align with Wind River’s growth strategy.
Essential Responsibilities
- Closely partner with global People Team colleagues & COE to drive strategic goals of the functions across the organization.
- Collaborate with leadership to understand business needs and align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Support managers in performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
- Identify talent gaps and implement training and development initiatives to build workforce capabilities.
- Support organizational change initiatives by providing guidance and resources to leaders and employees.
- Address employee concerns and conflicts, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment. EMEA point of contact for employee relations & immigration, partnering closely with legal team.
- Counsel employees and leadership within region on various aspects of policies and compliance.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, retention, and morale.
- Additional People Team projects as needed.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Vast understanding of European Works Council & European employment laws.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong interpersonal relation ability to navigate in a matrix organization.
- Able to influence various stakeholders (such as Leaders, and broader People Team).
- Able to think strategically and translate into operational plans to make things happen.
- Results driven and delivers outcomes in an impactful way.
- High level of analytical ability where problems are complex.
- Ability to exercise a high level of independent judgment.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and provide clear direction/instructions to audience.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
