As a Pharmacist, you will support pharmacy workflow and oversee the pharmacy team. Your responsibilities include supervising pharmacy technicians, ensuring data entry accuracy, maintaining patient confidentiality, assisting with prescription transfers, and adhering to all relevant regulations. You will also collaborate with the pharmacy manager and staff. This role offers flexible part-time hours and the opportunity to work in a healthcare environment. You will be responsible for the supervision of pharmacy technicians in support of the pharmacy manager involved in the pharmacy workflow.
Must have:
  • Graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Active Missouri Pharmacy License
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software

About the Role:

We’re seeking a licensed, detail-oriented Pharmacist to support the pharmacy workflow and provide oversight of the supporting pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity for professionals re-entering the workforce—whether career pause, parental leave, or other personal commitments—who are looking for flexible work hours in a healthcare environment.

Location: Onsite, 400 South Woods Mills Rd, Suite 100, Chesterfield MO

Hours: : Part-time, salaried (20 hrs/week), flexible scheduling available within pharmacy hours: Mon–Fri 7:00am–7:00pm and rotating Saturdays 8:00am–4:00pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the supervision of pharmacy technicians in support of the pharmacy manager involved in the pharmacy workflow
  • Oversee data entry by pharmacy staff from providers and receiving pharmacies and insure the quality of the pharmacy technicians work
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient information and their records, and destruction of relevant documentation which contains patient information
  • Assist the pharmacy manager in overseeing staff in fielding calls from major pharmacy chains and independent pharmacies across the country
  • Assist the pharmacy manager staff in receiving, processing and transferring patients’ prescriptions, and own the success of the transfer end-to-end
  • Perform all tasks in a safe and compliant manner that is consistent with corporate policies as well as State and Federal laws
  • Work collaboratively with the St Louis pharmacy manager, management team & Pharmacy Technician staff

Requirements:

  • Graduated from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Active Missouri Pharmacy License in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software
