Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician at Blink Health will be responsible for data entry of prescriptions received electronically, via fax, and verbally, following established protocols. They will handle communication with healthcare providers, including phone calls. They will resolve issues from various departments, ensuring compliance with policies and laws. The role requires at least 6 months of pharmacy technician experience, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new software. The technician will work in a safe and compliant environment, performing duties as assigned. They must have a professional phone presence and be competent in basic pharmacy calculations. Additionally, the role involves rotational shifts, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

  • Data entry of electronic, faxed, and verbal prescriptions as per Blink protocols
  • Handle provider/physician communications including, but not limited to voicemails, outbound and inbound calls
  • Resolve open issues submitted by a variety of departments, including pharmacists, other technicians, and Incident Coordinator team
  • Perform all tasks in a safe and compliant manner that is consistent with corporate policies as well as State and Federal laws
  • Other duties as assigned in Pharmacy Technician role

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months of prior Pharmacy Technician, or similar industry experience required
  • Professional phone presence in a support/service capacity
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software
  • Competent in basic pharmacy calculations
 

Shifts3 Available Shift Options:

  • 10 AM - 6 PM MST  (Monday - Friday)
  • 11 AM - 7 PM MST(Monday - Friday)
  • Rotational 40-hour per week shifts are also available between the hours of 8 AM-7 PM (Monday - Friday)
  • *** All shifts require rotational Saturday shift 7 AM-3 PM***

Location: Onsite full time position in Boise
