Job Description

As a Piping Engineer, you will review customer specifications for layouts and piping design basis. You will coordinate with project engineers and team leads to ensure timely submission of deliverables. Key responsibilities include preparing line lists, valve lists, and material take-offs, and providing input to drafting and engineering teams. You will review client comments and vendor documents, participate in 3D model reviews, and prepare ship loose summaries. The role also involves supporting procurement, manufacturing, and inspection, along with managing document revisions and ensuring timely submissions. JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Review of customer specifications related to Layouts, piping design basis, and other associated requirements.
- Work closely with Project Engineer, Team Lead to ensure submission on deliverables as per project schedule.
- Preparation of Line list, valve list and control material take offs with co-ordination with drafting, process, instrumentation, and procurement.
- Provide inputs and summaries to drafting, engineering by coordinating with project engineering, other allied
- departments, and vendors.
- Review of documents, drawings, prepare and resolve the comments received from client and ensure initial
- disposition of comments.
- Review of vendor quotes, vendor drawings, piping isometrics, piping material specifications, datasheets and ensure technical alignment.
- Active participation in 3d model reviews with customer and co-ordinate in comment resolutions.
- Prepare ship loose summaries to support assembly drawing accuracy.
- Keep track on the revisions of documents, drawings and ensure timely submission.
- Support procurement, manufacturing, and inspection agencies by providing necessary inputs.
- Other tasks as assigned.
