Piping Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Review of customer specifications related to Layouts, piping design basis, and other associated requirements.
• Work closely with Project Engineer, Team Lead to ensure submission on deliverables as per project schedule.
• Preparation of Line list, valve list and control material take offs with co-ordination with drafting, process, instrumentation, and procurement.
• Provide inputs and summaries to drafting, engineering by coordinating with project engineering, other allied
• departments, and vendors.
• Review of documents, drawings, prepare and resolve the comments received from client and ensure initial
• disposition of comments.
• Review of vendor quotes, vendor drawings, piping isometrics, piping material specifications, datasheets and ensure technical alignment.
• Active participation in 3d model reviews with customer and co-ordinate in comment resolutions.
• Prepare ship loose summaries to support assembly drawing accuracy.
• Keep track on the revisions of documents, drawings and ensure timely submission.
• Support procurement, manufacturing, and inspection agencies by providing necessary inputs.
• Other tasks as assigned.
