The Planner will coordinate with suppliers on product planning and job arrangements. They will ensure the accuracy of production orders and planning parameters, maintain good relationships with stakeholders, and work with various teams to meet delivery plans. Responsibilities include handling supplier correspondences, expediting schedules, monitoring production, managing inventory, and overseeing purchasing and distribution activities. The role requires ensuring production plans fulfill delivery schedules and addressing supply issues to minimize impact. Regular performance reviews of suppliers and proactive risk identification are also essential. The Planner will help vendors improve their reliability.
Must have: - Bachelor’s degree or above
- 3-5 years’ relevant work experience in Toys or FMCG industry
- Strong data analytical skill
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Proficient in ERP system, SAP preferred
- Familiar with MS office, mainly in Excel and macro applications
Good to have: - Supplier management experience is preferable.
- Fluency in Chinese would be an advantage.

What will you work on?
Coordinate with suppliers about the product planning relevant job arrangements.
How will you create impact?
- Ensure system accuracy of production orders and planning parameters.
- Ensure good service and relationship towards internal and external stakeholders customers.
- Work with suppliers, engineers, logistics and quality assurance staffs to meet delivery plan.
- Handle daily correspondences from suppliers, Asia program management and planning, Global Planners
- Expedite suppliers schedule and delivery.
- Monitor supplier production capacity, production status and material management.
- Follow up rejects status and results, from quality control inspection.
- Understand the capacities of assigned products and work closely with vendors to achieve committed capacities (manpower, machine, method, facilities and so on)
- Manage the raw material/WIP inventory of our vendors to ensure material availability and control the liability.
- Handle purchasing, planning and distribution activities for assigned suppliers independently.
- Supervise vendors’ daily production plans vs output. Ensure the production plans can fulfill delivery schedule and plan execution on daily basis.
- Follow up all the supply issues of assigned products If any potential or existing OTD failure happens, work with vendors and different internal teams closely to minimize the impact ASAP and figure out corrective actions.
- Review suppliers’ performance in terms of On-Time-Delivery, planning flexibility and material availability with related vendors in their factories on regular basis. Proactively identify potential supply risks to resolve all the coming risks at the early stage.
- Help and coach the vendors to improve their reliabilities and promote the cooperation.
What are your skills and experience?
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 3-5 years’ relevant work experience in Toys of Trading/ Buying Office or FMCG industry, supplier management experience is preferable.
- Enthusiastic, strong initiative, motivated by new challenges, co-operative and excellent in working with multifunctional team.
- Strong data analytical skill
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Fluency in Chinese would be an advantage.
- Able to work independently with overseas customers and vendors.
- Proficient in ERP system, SAP preferred Be familiar with MS office, mainly in Excel and macro applications.
