We are looking for a Software Developer responsible of working closely with diverse engineering and product teams to ensure features delivery that are part of the OneTru Platform team.

This position will be responsible of designing, implementing, supporting and troubleshooting applications, services and solutions. In this role, the Software Developer will work closely with senior developers, QA, PM, and UX to ensure their features are delivered to meet business and quality requirements.

This is a remote position for candidates in Costa Rica, which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.

What You'll Bring:

• Works with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain cloud and desktop business applications.

• Assists in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.

• Designs, develops, and test applications in accordance with established standards.

• Works with teammates in the migration of older applications.

• Analyses and resolves technical and application problems.

• Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.

• Package and support deployment of releases.

• Develops, refines, and tunes integrations between applications.

• Works with cross-functional teams to meet the needs of the customer

• Participates in code audits

• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor´s degree in computer science, information technology or other technical area preferred. Relevant experience or degree in progress will be accepted in lieu of degree.  

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Experience with software development cycles.

• Strong knowledge of programming language - Java (2+ years).

• Skills in Python, Bash or similar scripting languages.

• Skills in front end (GUI and web development)

• Experience with Java frameworks including Spring Boot, REST.

• Knowledge of the Cloud concepts, hands on experience with AWS or GCP is a plus.

• Knowledge of Git and version control. 

• Knowledge of any relational database and one of the NoSQL database. 

• Knowledge of Web frameworks like Vue, React or Angular.

• Experience with Continuous Deployment, Infrastructure as Code, Automated Testing, Automated Configuration Management.
