Description

We are seeking an experienced Play tester to join our gaming company and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our games. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for gaming, and the ability to communicate effectively with both game designers and programmers.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly play the game to identify and document bugs, glitches, and issues in various stages and features.
  • Clearly document and reproduce bugs, providing detailed steps to replicate for the development team.
  • Effectively explain identified issues to the programming team, including context and potential causes.
  • Verify and confirm that reported bugs have been successfully fixed after updates.
  • Ensure that visuals, animations, and features behave correctly and align with design specifications.
  • Act as a mediator between game designers and programmers, facilitating clear communication and understanding.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test documents and checklists outlining test scenarios, procedures, and expected outcomes.

Requirements

  • Courses in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • experience as a play tester or a related field- Advantage
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Unity game development platform.
  • Keen attention to detail to identify even the smallest bugs and issues within the game.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey bug details and information clearly to both game designers and programmers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and understand the root causes of bugs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including game designers and programmers.
  • Experience in creating, maintaining, and executing test documents and checklists.
  • Adaptability to changes in-game features, updates, and development processes.
  • Deep understanding of gaming culture and a passion for mobile games- Advantage
  • High-level English- Must

  • Full-time in-office / hybrid model
