Job Description

Veeam, the #1 global market leader in data protection and ransomware recovery, is looking for a Plugin Developer to join the team. The role involves developing and supporting plugins for Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) Solutions, integrating them with Veeam products like Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam One. The developer will be responsible for troubleshooting, analyzing logs, and staying updated on the latest technologies. They will also contribute to documentation. The company is expanding its presence in Poland.

Must have:

Knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, etc.)
Knowledge of Windows/Unix OS and systems administration
Understanding of software design and development principles
Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
Knowledge of Syslog and RESTful APIs
Ability to quickly learn and understand technical information
English proficiency for international team communication

Good to have:

Experience with SOAR services (ServiceNow, Splunk SOAR, etc.)
Experience with Git
Experience with PowerShell

We are looking for a Plugin Developer to join the team that develops plugins for Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) Solutions and integrates them with Veeam products such as Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam One.

Your tasks will include:

Developing and supporting plugins for SOAR services
Performing troubleshooting and analysis, including log file investigation
Proactively staying up to date with all the latest technologies concerning Veeam’s products and the underlying technologies
Contributing to documentation for Veeam’s knowledge base

What we expect from you:

A university degree in a technical field
Knowledge of any programming languages like JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, etc.
Basic knowledge of Windows/Unix OS and systems administration
Understanding of the principles of software design and development
Basic knowledge of algorithms and data structures
Basic knowledge of Syslog and RESTful APIs
Ability to quickly learn, understand, and explain technical information
English proficiency sufficient to communicate with international teams

Will be an advantage:

Experience with any SOAR services such as ServiceNow, Splunk SOAR, Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Cisco XDR, Crowdstrike Falcon, etc.
Experience with Git
Experience with PowerShell
