The Housekeeping team at this hotel helps create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Room Attendants are responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, ranging from standard rooms to suites and villas. Duties include servicing 13+ rooms daily, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing amenities, and handling special cleaning projects. The PM shift starts as early as 3:30 pm and ends as late as 1:00 am. Strong communication, guest service skills, and the ability to multi-task are essential. Experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred, but not required. The role requires physical stamina and the use of various cleaning tools and equipment.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping team helps create special memories and a home-away-from-home experience for each of our Guests every day. Cast Members on the Housekeeping team are responsible for the overall cleaning and replenishing of amenities for all hotel Guest Rooms. They are expected to clean a minimum number of rooms daily, ranging in size from Standard Studio Rooms to Deluxe Suites and Vacation Club Villas.

PM Room Attendants may start as early as 3:30pm and end as late as 1:00am.

Responsibilities:

Housekeeping Room Attendant Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Servicing and cleaning 13 or more rooms a day including occupied, vacant and check-out Guest rooms
  • Performing turndown services
  • Making and changing bedding of all types
  • Dusting furniture, vacuuming, and replacing and folding towels
  • Touching up windows, walls, and baseboards and cleaning patio/balconies, floors, and furniture
  • Cleaning bathrooms daily
  • Replacing amenities and any items utilized by Guests during their stay, such as portable cribs, rollways, coffee makers, ironing board, or refrigerators
  • Stocking and organizing supplies into Housekeeping carts
  • Washing and drying Guest drinking glasses with a dishwashing machine
  • Deep cleaning as assigned on a special project days
  • Cleaning, dusting, mopping and vacuuming Concierge Lounge

Basic Qualifications:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to speak and read English
  • Positive with a passion for Guest Service
  • Must meet the requirements of a physical assessment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Willing to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable using a smart phone for daily assignments
  • Must use Personal Protective Equipment (boots, gloves, goggles), hand tools (mops, brooms), power equipment/tools
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a luxury Hotel

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
