Job Description

Soap Central, part of Absolute Sports, seeks a Pop Culture Editor (contract, night shift) to edit approximately 350 articles monthly. This role involves editing various content formats, including listicles, news, rumors, reviews, and features on celebrities, reality stars, comics, anime, movies, and TV shows. The editor will act as a liaison between writers and content managers, ensuring articles adhere to website guidelines and Google policies. Strong English writing skills, time management, and independent work capabilities are essential.

Must have:

Edit 350+ articles monthly
Excellent English (US)
Strong grammar and syntax
Time management & research skills

The Opportunity

Location: Remote

Role: Contract(Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities

Editing 350 articles a month, mainly listicles, breakout news, rumors/incidents, reviews and feature stories on celebrities, reality stars, comics, anime, movies and TV shows.
Being a bridge between writers and content managers to resolve content errors.
Ensuring articles meet website guidelines and do not violate Google policies.

Requirements

Ability to edit timely articles swiftly and accurately.
Excellent command of the English language (US) is a must.
Should have a knack for sentence composition, grammar, and syntax.
Excellent research and time management skills, and ability to work independently.
