Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a global technology company that builds apps at the intersection of dating, social, and entertainment. The company's portfolio includes 70 social discovery platforms with a focus on AI, game mechanics, and video streaming. We actively support and invest in social discovery startups worldwide through our CVC fund.
We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to join Social Discovery Ventures. Social Discovery Ventures (SDV) is a global investment management company. SDV has invested in 27 Venture Capital and 5 private equity funds, including NEA, Khosla Ventures, and DCM, fostering a thriving ecosystem of innovation and growth.
Your main tasks will be:
- Manage the portfolio of VC and PE funds investments;
- Build strategic relationships with portfolio funds. Investigate arising issues;
- Oversee new funds investments. Manage due diligence and deal-closing processes;
- Present potential deals to the Investment Committee;
- Track the quarterly performance of the portfolio VC / PE funds.
We expect from you:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in VC, PE funds;
- Excel proficiency;
- Familiar with VC funds structure;
- Market research and sizing skills;
- Attention to details;
- Analytical thinking;
- Deal negotiation skills and experience.
