Job Description

As a Practice Specialist, Generative AI, you'll work with technical sales teams as a machine learning expert, differentiating Google Cloud to customers. You'll help prospective customers and partners understand Google Cloud's capabilities, explaining technical features, designing architectures, and solving roadblocks. You'll collaborate with customers and product development to shape the future of the AI platform. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying business opportunities, supporting customer relationships (briefings, proof-of-concept work), creating technical content (best practices, tutorials, presentations), traveling to customer locations and industry events, and engaging with C-level executives. This role requires fluent English and Korean communication.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
10+ years cloud native architecture experience
Deep learning framework experience (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
LLM fine-tuning and training experience
Fluent English and Korean communication

Good to have:

Experience with API management, microservices, and PaaS
CI/CD, container orchestration experience
GCP and Vertex AI experience
C-level engagement and influence
Prototyping/demo creation and articulation

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience with frameworks for deep learning (e.g., PyTorch, Tensorflow, Jax, Ray, etc.) and using machine learning APIs.
Experience with fine-tuning and training Large Language Model.
Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English and Korean with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience developing scalable architectures using API management, microservices frameworks, and PaaS.
Experience with modern software development life-cycle methodologies and tools including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, container orchestration, and operations.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Vertex AI.
Ability to engage with C-level or executive business leaders and influence decisions.
Ability to create prototypes/demos and articulate this to a customer audience, while integrating with existing systems.

Responsibilities

Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
Support the technical relationship with Google’s customers including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partner with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
Create and deliver technical content (e.g., best practices, tutorials, code samples, presentations.) to enable customers and internal teams to leverage Google Cloud AI infrastructure.
Travel to customer locations and represent Google Cloud at conferences, meetups, and other industry events to share knowledge, network with peers, and stay current on the latest trends.
