This role is the guardian of all digital art assets for products like Magic:The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons. This starts with preflighting art assets before they are distributed to suppliers. The journey continues with ensuring assets are tagged with metadata accurately before being moved to an asset management system. This role will work with many different team members across the organization including marketing, digital artists, localization, and IT.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Preflight art assets and distribute them to production partners.

  • Produce production proofs for graphic artists and art directors when needed.
  • Tag assets as they are complete and file them appropriately.
  • Retrieve digital assets after verifying no issues exists with contracts or usage rights and deliver them using secure tools determined by IT and security.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and standard methodologies in prepress and digital asset management to continuously improve the efficiency, usability, and effectiveness of business.
     

What you’ll bring:

  • BS degree in Print Technology, Library Science, or equivalent experience.

  • Deep knowledge of digital art files for print production and specialty treatments.
  • Skilled in the use of Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Passion for solving problems and bringing amazing products to life.
  • Excellent project management skills with a focus on assessing priorities.
  • Excellent understanding of databases used for digital asset management.
  • Skilled at creating and maintaining metadata and data taxonomies.
  • Knowledge of game, card, book, and toy production and related processes strongly recommended.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.
  • Proven track record to collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Be a continuous learner who shares knowledge to make others better.
  • Knowledge of and curiosity about the game or entertainment industry.

 

Compensation Range (USD):

  • Starting: $77,883.20
  • Ending: $131,538
