Principal Next.js Developer

What you will do:

As a Senior React Developer, you will play a crucial role in our Web team, focusing on the front-end development of our online casino websites. You will work with technologies like React.js, Next.js and TypeScript to build user-friendly, scalable solutions.

You'll work on the front-end of our custom built CMS, which powers our online casino websites. You'll be responsible for rendering pages using data provided by our headless CMS through backend API endpoints. This role involves not just rendering, but also managing core functionalities related to the product, ensuring that the underlying principles are upheld.

This is a hybrid role based in our Ljubljana office or a remote role.

Your responsibilities:

• Developing and optimizing our web applications, ensuring they meet the needs of thousands of daily users.
• Implementing new features based on specifications, utilizing our custom-built CMS tool that offers a variety of configurable features.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our architecture, proposing innovative solutions and improvements.
• Collaborating with a growing team to tackle technical challenges and enhance our architecture, ensuring scalability for future development.

What you bring to the team:

• 2+ years hands-on experience in production with Next.js, particularly in its rendering concepts (SSR, SPA, ISR, SSG).
• Extensive experience in front-end development and architectural design of web applications.
• Experience with designing an app that your team was maintaining in production for more than 2 years.
• Experience with working on large scale projects.
• Working knowledge of statically typed programming languages (ideally Typescript).
• Good knowledge of Git.
• Proficiency in the English language.
