Job Description

The Principal Product Engineer will drive key customer engagements, interface with the R&D team to influence product development, manage beta programs, and track customer issues. The role requires in-depth knowledge of signal/power integrity analysis for IC package and PCB designs and basic coding skills in Perl and Python. Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English are also necessary. The engineer should be patient in listening to customer feedback and possess strong technical insight to identify the root cause of issues.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience with an MSEE or 7+ years experience with a BSEE.
  • In-depth knowledge of signal/power integrity analysis for IC package and PCB designs.
  • Basic Perl and Python coding capability for analysis flow automation.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English.

Position responsibilities include: 

  • Drive key customer engagements in cooperation with the local/international Field Applications team
  • Interface with R&D team to drive and influence product development to fulfill customer requirements
  • Manage beta programs, tutorial documentation, and track customer issues
  • Travel, including international travel, may be required

Position requirements:

  • The candidate must have 5+ years of relevant industry experience with an MSEE or 7+ years’ experience with a BSEE.
  • In-depth knowledge and industry experience in signal/power integrity(SI/PI) analysis for IC package and PCB designs with Sigrity PowerSI, SystemSI, Clarity, etc.
  • Basic Perl and Python coding capability for analysis flow automation for Sigrity Tools
  • Be patient in listening to customers' feedback and have strong technical insight to identify the root cause.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in Chinese and English
