Job Description
The Principal Product Validation Engineer will plan and develop strategies to test SPICE/Fast-SPICE simulators. Responsibilities include creating procedures, test cases, and designs for testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure Spectre products meet specifications and software quality standards. The role involves collaborating with a team to improve product quality and usability, along with building tools to automate testing using scripting languages. This position is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of Cadence's technology products.
Must have:
- Plan and develop testing strategies for SPICE/Fast-SPICE simulators.
- Develop test cases, procedures, and designs.
- Troubleshoot and debug to meet specifications.
- Ensure software quality standards are upheld.
- Build automation tools using scripting languages.
