Job Description

The Principle Architect will define the overall architecture and technical direction for a Monitoring as a Platform (MaP). This platform is crucial for self-managed infrastructure and includes real-time monitoring, intelligent networks, self-healing, and IoT capabilities to improve productivity, agility, and employee experience. Responsibilities include establishing architectural blueprints, evaluating client technology recommendations, ensuring architecture meets requirements, and guaranteeing scalability, security, and performance. The role requires strong AWS cloud services expertise and experience translating business needs into feasible technical solutions.

Must have:

15+ years IT experience
Enterprise architecture frameworks knowledge
Scalable system & distributed systems knowledge
Translate business needs into technical solutions
5+ years solution architecture experience
Strong AWS cloud services & architecture expertise
Excellent problem-solving skills

Good to have:

Advanced monitoring & observability tooling
AI/ML infrastructure & automation frameworks experience
ELK stack proficiency (deployment & optimization)
Grafana experience
Ansible and Terraform experience
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) knowledge

Project description

Monitoring as a Platform, a platform that is first critical step towards a self-managed infrastructure, and includes capabilities like real-time monitoring, intelligent networks, self-healing and IoT to achieve improved productivity, organizational agility and improved employee experiences.

Responsibilities

Define overall architecture and technical direction.

Establish architectural blueprints/designs.

Evaluate recommendations from the client for proposed technologies and assess fitment into the overall Architecture.

Collaborate to ensure architecture meets requirements.

Ensure scalability, security, and performance.

Skills

Must have

15+ years of experience in IT

Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks.

Knowledge of scalable system design and distributed systems.

Translate business requirements into feasible technical solutions.

5+ years of experience in solution architecture or related roles.

Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and architecture.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

English C1 Advanced

Nice to have

Advanced monitoring and observability tooling knowledge

Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and automation frameworks

Proficient in ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and experience with deployment and optimization.

Experience with Grafana for monitoring and visualization.

Experience in Ansible and Terraform.

Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
