Kavaliro is looking for a Procurement Specialist to assist a client onsite in Orlando, FL. The role involves understanding MRP, cycle counts, and BOMs. The ideal candidate should have experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment and be able to interpret documents like procedures and blueprints. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel, is essential, along with strong communication and analytical skills. The specialist will need to work effectively with diverse teams and suppliers. Responsibilities include managing procurement processes, ensuring efficient supply chain operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Good To Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- International experience preferred.
- ERP experience.
Must Have:

- Experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and blueprints.

- Strong analytical and process skills.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and suppliers.

- Basic understanding of MRP, cycle counts, BOM's, item attributes, etc.
- Min/Max MRP system working knowledge required/ implementation preferred.
- Distribution or Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures, schematics, BOM, etc.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings preferred.
- Highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft applications (PPT, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience working in ISO environment.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong analytical and process skills.
- Work effectively and collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams, customers and suppliers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain preferred; BS/BA degree or 2+ years of equivalent professional experience in buying and planning functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- International experience preferred.
- ERP experience.
