Job Description
This Product Data Analyst role at Outfit7 in Shanghai focuses on in-depth user behavior analysis and A/B testing to support game development. Collaborating with product and analytics teams, you'll identify opportunities for improvement, work with developers to implement solutions, and drive operational enhancements. Responsibilities include closely assisting the product manager, ensuring efficient teamwork, and presenting complex findings to diverse audiences. The ideal candidate possesses strong data science skills, excellent communication in English and Chinese, and a proactive, results-oriented attitude. Experience with data analytics, statistical methods, and tools like R, Python, SQL, Excel, and Tableau is essential; mobile game analytics experience is a significant plus.

In this role you will

- Conduct and explore in-depth user behavior analysis and AB tests to support game development.
- Collaborate with the Product and Product Analytics teams to find opportunities to improve our products.
- Work with the development team to ensure the correct implementation of ideas.
- Drive operational improvements in analytical processes and methodology, as well as product feature improvements.
- Closely working with the product manager and helping doing product related tasks.
- Work efficiently as part of the team.

Your experience

- Experience with data analytics and statistical methods.
- Experience with data instrumentation and data collection, as well as the use of tools for analyzing data (e.g. R,Python).
- Background working with data-oriented tools, such as SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
- Experience with mobile game analytics (or similar role) for 3+ years is a plus.
