The Product Delivery Analyst (PDA) is a key member of the Product Delivery team. The PDA will work closely with FTSE Russell leadership to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives, documentation, and reporting. Key responsibilities include data management and reporting, project management tools, risk and change management, building a network of stakeholders, communication, problem-solving, and ensuring governance compliance. The candidate should have strong reporting and presentation skills and data visualization skills.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience in product delivery or project management.
  • Strong knowledge of Product/Project management reporting and presentation tools.
Good to have:
  • Financial services experience is a plus.
  • Experience with data collection and analysis tools.

Role Profile and Purpose

The Product Delivery Analyst (PDA) is a key member of the Product Delivery team. The PDA will work closely with FTSE Russell leadership, product management, technology, governance & risk, research, sales, marketing, and client services to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives, documentation, and reporting. This role is ideally suited for individuals who are detail-oriented, highly organized, like to visualize data from various perspectives and eager to gain practical experience in product delivery within a global financial market environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management and Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on Index products, product delivery progress, performance metrics, and key deliverables, analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Project Management Tools: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of project management tools such as Assana, MS Project, Jira, Power BI, Clarity, PowerApps or equivalent tools. And ensure all project data is accurately recorded and up to date.
  • Risk and Change Management: Proactively monitor risk areas, implement mitigations and contribute to change management activities across functional partners and documents adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Network Building: Build and maintain a robust network of stakeholders, fostering open and transparent communication channels to promote collaboration.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, adapt to change, and clearly convey strategic and management expectations.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate good problem-solving abilities, lateral thinking, and planning skills.
  • Governance Compliance: Ensure adherence to governance, risk control, and audit frameworks at both divisional and group levels.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery of the product milestones.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills

  • Strong reporting and presentation skills to communicate project progress and key updates
  • Strong data visualization and analytical skills to create clear and engaging visualization and communicate insights clearly
  • Deep knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Understanding of product lifecycle
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and team orientated
  • Ability to deal with multiple priorities and changing requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver in a matrixed environment. 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in product delivery, project/product management, consulting (financial services experience is a plus) with MBA preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Product/Project management reporting and presentation tools- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), MS Project, Asana, Jira, Power Bi or equivalent
  • Experience with data collection and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI).
