Role
We know that distributed teams with an effective leader are best suited to deliver outstanding performance. In such teams, the Design Manager guides the team to the best possible outcome, assists in the development of team members and is responsible for the design quality bar of the entire unit.

As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for the development of the B2C product line. Lead a team of 6 product designers, influence their development and cross-team work. Assist in concept development, work with the team to present solutions and handle feedback from stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a contributor on B2C products with a strong visual strategy and experience leading a small design team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead, manage and oversee the quality of the product design team;
    • Lead the design process, maintaining brand, UI and UX consistency;
    • Developing concepts and ideas in search of innovative solutions;
    • Delivering presentations to stakeholders;
    • Lead projects requiring active design involvement;
    • Maintain a balance of productive work and development of designers.

REQUIREMENTS

    • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design;
    • 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring and building design teams;
    • A portfolio that meets industry standards;
    • Natural ability to communicate, present, and seek support internally and with clients;
    • Familiarity with systems design, design thinking, research, and people-management;
    • Knowledge of usability, accessibility, analytics and A/B testing;
    • Desire to earn credibility through management skills by building internal and external communications;
    • Interest in gamedev. Ideally if there is experience in the gaming industry.
