Job Summary

Job Description

The Product Engineer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining quality standards for DRAM products, conducting root cause analysis for failures, and working with the Quality team to implement corrective actions. They will design, implement, and oversee test protocols for DRAM products, including performance, compatibility, and reliability testing. Collaboration with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient and scalable production is crucial, as is identifying and resolving production-related issues. Data analysis to monitor product performance and reliability, generating reports, and presenting findings to senior management and cross-functional teams are key responsibilities. The role requires acting as a liaison between engineering, quality, manufacturing, and customer support teams to address product issues and drive improvements.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years experience in product engineering (DRAM preferred)
  • Understanding of DRAM architecture, manufacturing processes, and QA practices
  • Proficiency in data analysis and root cause analysis
  • Hands-on experience with DRAM testing, validation, and failure analysis
Good to have:
  • Six Sigma training

Job Description

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards for DRAM products, conducting root cause analysis for failures and working with the Quality team to implement corrective actions.
  • Testing and Validation: Design, implement, and oversee test protocols for DRAM products, including performance, compatibility, and reliability testing.
  • Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient and scalable production of DRAM products, identifying and resolving production-related issues.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Use data analysis to monitor product performance and reliability, generating reports and presenting findings to senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between engineering, quality, manufacturing, and customer support teams to address product issues and drive improvements.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in product engineering, preferably with DRAM or other memory products.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of DRAM architecture, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and root cause analysis; experience with statistical analysis tools and methodologies. Six Sigma training is a real plus but not required.
  • Testing and Validation Experience: Hands-on experience with DRAM testing, validation, and failure analysis.
