Job Description

The Product Manager Advisor will be responsible for contributing to the business, developing business cases to build new products, and managing the profitability of new and existing products. They will base strategic decisions on ROI, market and customer feedback, and user experience analysis. They will set product strategy, prioritize features, build consensus, and coordinate product specifications. They will communicate with internal and external stakeholders to define product release requirements and go-to-market strategies. The day-to-day role includes collaborating with stakeholders, articulating product requirements, and evaluating product KPIs.
Must have:
  • 7-10 years of product management experience with SaaS or software.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
Good to have:
  • SAFe Agile Certification.
  • Proficient in tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and Salesforce

What You'll Bring:

  • At least, 7-10 years of experience in product management with a wide variety of product development and management skills with SaaS-based technology or software company.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA / master’s degree preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to leverage and build relationships across the organization.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills, including the ability to absorb and process substantial amounts of data into actionable information.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, with a proven record for originating and driving the adoption of successful strategic initiatives.

We’re also looking for the preferred skills below.

  • SAFe Agile Certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and Salesforce

Impact You'll Make:

  • This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Product Management
  • You will be responsible for Product Management’s contribution to our business, developing business cases to build new products and managing the profitability of new and existing products. This position will base strategic decisions through a defensible, metrics-driven approach based on ROI, market and customer feedback and analysis of the user experience. In addition, this position provides leadership and initiative within the department by understanding the industry and its strategic direction. You will set the product strategy, prioritize features, build consensus, and coordinate product specifications with your design and engineering teammates.
  • Communication skills are key to success in this role. You will work with internal and external stakeholders in development, marketing, sales, finance, and operations to define product release requirements based on market problems. You will work with product marketing to help define the go-to-market strategy by providing key product and market insights. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working to support the sales channel and key customers. In short, you must be prepared to communicate with all areas of the company.
  • Day-to-day role responsibilities include working closely with our business stakeholders to understand and anticipate our business needs to prioritize features. Collaborating with technical owners, product owners to clearly articulate product requirements by defining and refining features. You will have a deep understanding and ownership of our product and platform KPIs and evaluate metrics throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $100,100.00 - $150,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
