Mercer is seeking candidates for the position of Product Manager

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Product Management team as the Product Management Specialist. This role will be based in either Melbourne or Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and compliance of our product disclosure statements, policy reviews, and other critical documents while supporting regulatory changes and client initiatives. Your expertise in the superannuation industry and keen attention to detail will be vital in enhancing member outcomes and maintaining our high standards.

We will count on you to:

  • Carry out product management activities for assigned product offers, ensuring compliance with product rules and regulatory guidelines.

  • Produce and review product disclosure statements, policy documents, and significant event notices with a focus on accuracy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, coordinate policy changes, and implement process improvements.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations, providing subject matter expertise and responding to product-related queries.

  • Engage with stakeholders, including third parties and vendors, to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

What you need to have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, business, or a financial services-related discipline.

  • At least five years of experience in Financial Services, particularly in Superannuation or Insurance.

  • Strong product management experience within the superannuation industry is highly regarded.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with regulatory requirements in the superannuation and/or insurance industries.

  • RG146 qualification.
