Job Description

We are seeking a Product Manager for a temporary 5-month contract position to cover paternity leave, focusing on the online betting space. The role involves taking ownership of a product area or feature, driving development from ideation to launch, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align with customer needs and business objectives. Responsibilities include iterating on product features using data-driven insights and Agile principles, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, contributing to strategic discussions, defining product requirements, leading Agile ceremonies, acting as a liaison between engineering, design, and business teams, providing stakeholder updates, mentoring junior team members, and managing third-party supplier relationships.

Your mission

As a Product Manager, you will take ownership of a product area or feature, driving its development from ideation to launch and beyond. You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

Please note: This is a fixed-term position with an initial contract of 5 months, intended to cover a paternity leave.

What you'll do

  • Independently iterate on product features using data-driven insights and Agile principles to refine workflows
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to validate user problems and identify root causes independently
  • Contribute to strategic discussions by aligning features and tasks with the product’s long-term vision and goals
  • Work with stakeholders to define clear product requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with team goals
  • Act as the primary liaison between engineering, design, and business teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency in product progress and decisions
  • Actively mentor junior team members and contribute to fostering a culture of collaboration
  • Manage relationships with third-party suppliers where necessary

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role within a high-transaction environment such as gaming, e-commerce, or fintech.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative product development.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively using frameworks such as MoSCoW, RICE, and data driven approaches.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering incremental improvements.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset, comfortable working with data to inform decisions and measure success.
  • Ability to balance tactical execution with strategic thinking, ensuring the product meets both immediate needs and long-term vision.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, design, and QA teams to drive successful product outcomes.
