As a Product Manager, Backup and Disaster Recovery at Google, you'll be responsible for driving strategy, idea, and execution for protection features within GCP customers backup requirements. You'll also be working with engineering and other stakeholders to drive feature/release life-cycle. You'll be influencing product prioritization decisions required to grow the business. Additionally, you'll be accelerating adoption and business growth by partnering with account teams and solution teams. Understanding the challenges and opportunities associated with building a service for scale will be key to your success in this role.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 3 years of experience in product management or a related technical role
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • Experience in Cloud storage and the overall public cloud ecosystem including customer requirements, market trends, competitive positioning
Good to have:
  • Experience managing a cloud service
  • Experience in getting data from various systems and leveraging that to make data-driven product decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (e.g., writing PRDs and strategy documents, writing and delivering presentations)

Minimum qualifications:
