The Product Manager in Varonis plays a crucial role in serving & delighting our customers as well to the success of the company. You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle, from market and customer needs research, to planning, and launch. It is a fascinating and challenging role, in a dynamic work environment. You’ll join a team of talented product managers helping to solve some of the most complex security, privacy, and compliance issues organizations face.
You'll play a pivotal role translating them into friendly, easy to use features, that thousands of customers depend on daily, to protect their most important data.
Responsibilities:
Master the market by analyzing trends & competition, then learn about its gaps & needs. Use that to as you
Influence the entire product life cycle, from strategic planning and tactical activities and all the way through the launch of the product/version
Gather and prioritize product requirements by conducting market research, supported by visits and interaction with customers, prospects and partners
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, QA, Support, and Project management
Drive the team to continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a product manager
Technical background and experience in software development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly analytical; ability to research and analyze processes, make quick decisions, and understand the consequences
Experience working in an agile environment and in writing detailed specifications/user stories
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Knowledge in the fields (one or more) of Data Discovery and Classification, Machine Learning, Entity Extraction, Text Analytics – an advantage
Relevant B.Sc. degree; MBA – an advantage
