As a Product Manager II in Google's Augmented Reality Perception team, you'll define and execute the integrated perception strategy, collaborating with platform teams and external partners. You'll guide products from conception to launch, working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders to build and maintain perception solutions. Your responsibilities include defining product roadmaps, driving launches, collaborating with internal teams on hardware and compute alignment, and aligning perception efforts with developer and device partner needs. This role requires strong technical skills in computer architecture, computer vision, and embedded systems, and experience with consumer electronics and software development lifecycles.
Must have:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience in consumer electronics, chipsets, computer vision, or cross-reality.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience with computing, mobile operating systems, and software application development life-cycles.
  • Experience with consumer hardware development life-cycles.
  • Excellent technical skills, with knowledge of computer architecture, computer vision, and experience with embedded systems and low-power design.

In this role, you will work with the Perception team, in coordination with the platform team and external partners to define and execute on the integrated perception strategy. You will partner with the hardware, compute, and performance teams to properly balance the fidelity and feature set of perception experiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define product roadmaps by operationalizing strategy.
  • Drive launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Partner with Engineering and cross-functional partners to define and build integrated Perception solution and roadmap.
  • Align perception efforts to meet the needs of developer and device partners.
  • Work with internal compute and hardware teams to align future perception software roadmap with future device capabilities.
