About the job:
As a Product Manager II, you will be responsible for the YouTube Music app's homepage, the front door of our product. You will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. You will define the product vision and strategy for the Music app Home surface, working closely with our Home and Radio engineering, design, and data science teams to drive your roadmap. You will develop innovative music discovery experiences on Home and partner closely with our machine learning experts to improve nomination and ranking.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in consumer product management
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
  • 2 years of experience, drawing your own insights from product data (e.g., SQL, Google Sheets)
Good to have:
  • Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX, marketing, legal and other stakeholders
  • 2 years of product management experience in a consumer media company (e.g., music, TV, film)
  • 1 year of experience in software development or engineering

Minimum qualifications:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
