About the role
As a Global Product Marketing Associate, you’ll play a crucial role in understanding market needs and ensuring that our product messaging aligns with customer challenges and company goals. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across multiple global regions to maximize conversions and contribute to CleverTap’s success.
What will you do :
- Derive Market Insight: You will be expected to conduct and analyze research in collaboration with sales, customer success and data analytics teams to better understand customer needs, how they use our products, and how we can position or develop our product experiences to better meet those needs.
- Define Positioning and Messaging: Influence and shape CleverTap’s positioning through the use of data and insights for target audiences.
- Build an Impactful Asset Library: Collaborate closely with customer-facing teams and leadership to identify needs, pain points, and goals, and then deliver an asset roadmap to meet business priorities. Ensure consistent quality for sales-facing messaging, positioning, and value propositions across all enablement materials.
- Accelerate Field Enablement: Source, build and review engaging, effective and scalable sales content, including training collateral, sales playbooks, and other assets for all customer facing teams (Sales, Customer Success, Solution Engineering and Field Marketing) - with a focus on consultative/ Value selling.
- Key Deal Support: Support CleverTap’s sales and customer success teams for key large deals by building a clear narrative for discussions
- Build Mid/ Bottom Funnel Touchpoint Frameworks: Craft engaging mid/bottom funnel touchpoints for mature prospects to achieve maximum conversions and closures.
- Build Industry Expertise/ Solutions Hub: Assist in building a dedicated industry-wise program for CleverTap’s Key Target Industries.
- Influence and shape product strategies: Act as a liaison between the market and products teams by becoming the ‘Voice of the Market’ and influence product roadmaps to augment wins for CleverTap in the short term and long-term.
What are we looking for?
- MBA in Marketing, Business from a Tier-I, II B-School
- 2-4 years of experience in industry marketing, product marketing or corporate marketing
- Strong analytical skills and structured decision-making.
- Excellent cross-functional team management and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with product marketing strategies, project management, and field enablement
- Ability to craft compelling industry messaging
- Comfortable presenting to executive leaders and cross functional partners, and ability to develop compelling industry customer-facing presentations
Good to have:
- Prior Experience in B2B Saas Companies
- Growth mindset, curious, self-aware, and passionate about continuous improvement
- Strong attention to and command of detail, and project management skills to focus on key outcomes amidst competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Excellent communications skills; able to distill complex concepts into clear and concise language for senior-level management and various stakeholders
- Highly motivated and creative team player who thrives in building collaborative partnerships with Integrated Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Sales and PR, and Enablement teams
- Deep experience writing messaging and creating engaging content that romances product scenarios; passion for technology and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple, clear prose
- Curiosity, self-awareness, and a desire to test and learn, sing data as a success metric
- A natural collaborator with a willingness to drive hands-on tactical execution - Ability to establish excellent working relationships with cross-functional teams
- Get-it-Done confidence to pick up and lead new projects even in the face of ambiguity
