The Product Marketing Manager will execute go-to-market strategies for a designated sports segment. This includes market analysis, aligning products with GTM strategy, driving adoption, and collaborating with product teams. Responsibilities involve defining and executing GTM strategies, aligning product and GTM plans, acting as a resource for product managers and designers, participating in agile meetings, prioritizing work to support objectives, identifying market opportunities, and developing product positioning and launch plans.

The Position:

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team. As the Product Marketing Manager, you will execute the go-to-market strategy in your designated sport segment. In this role, you will provide market analysis and input to align the product with the GTM strategy. You will drive adoption by bringing GameChanger to the spaces that current and future users gather. This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Director of Product Marketing in defining and executing go-to-market strategy for your sport’s vertical

  • Drive alignment between Product and GTM on a sport’s-specific plan for each quarter and fiscal year in support of business objectives.

  • Be the go-to resource for your sport’s vertical product managers and product designers, partnering with them to understand our product vision and upcoming functionality and determine how to best align to GTM strategy.

  • Support in running GTM agile meetings including retros, demos, triage new requests, and prioritize our backlog to align with quarterly objectives. 

  • Partner with the GTM team to prioritize the most important work in your sport’s vertical that supports our objectives, assess effectiveness, and pivot as needed.

  • Identify the market opportunity and determine the positioning of products and features through competitive, industry, and customer insights.

  • Combine strategic thinking, data analysis, segmentation, positioning, and launch planning to bring new products, features, and experiences to our users.

Who You Are:

  • 3-5 years of experience in product marketing and/or product roles with experience working in SaaS, product-led growth experience preferred.

  • Experience in sports or working in the sports tech industry. 

  • A self-started with proven track record of driving go-to-market strategies

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and manage positive cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

  • Change-ready, you understand that things constantly evolve and can flawlessly adapt and excel within a hyper-growth environment.

  • Team player, you are detail oriented and a strong promoter of GameChanger’s product both internally and externally.

The target salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $130,000. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We constantly review all teammate pay to ensure a great compensation package that is fair and equal across the board.
