Job Description

As Product Marketing Manager at GOALS, you will lead go-to-market strategies and campaigns, balancing artistic expression with business goals. Responsibilities include licensing and partnerships with influencers and brands, elevating player engagement and brand awareness, monitoring market trends, driving live service marketing, and managing the marketing budget. You will work closely with a small marketing team, ensuring all aspects of the game align with brand standards. This is a hands-on role requiring creativity, execution, and a deep passion for gaming and esports. The role demands experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for game launches and live service marketing plans.

Welcome to the Marketing team


As Product Marketing Manager at GOALS, you’ll be at the forefront of our go-to-market strategy, leading the charge on campaigns that bring our brand and product to life for players around the world. This is a hands-on role where creativity meets execution - you’ll own the full campaign lifecycle from idea to impact.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and who’s eager to build and scale marketing efforts across new and integrated channels. You’ll work across brand, product, and community to identify key target segments, develop resonant messaging, create high-impact content, establish performance tracking, and continuously iterate based on insights.

This is a role for a smart, creative self-starter who loves rolling up their sleeves and making things happen. Most importantly, you have a deep passion for gaming and esports, and you’re excited to shape how GOALS connects with the world.

This is a hands-on role where you create a next-level experience for our players together with our small marketing team of one community manager, one content producer, and a performance marketing specialist.

You are the guardrail to the brand standards and take responsibility for making all aspects of the game align with them, from music to kits.  Successful candidates will have a solid marketing track record with a steady progression of increased responsibility and impact. You have demonstrated your ability to define clear goals and develop creative, high-impact marketing initiatives to achieve those goals, grounded in a deep understanding of the target audience and of partners in the ecosystem.


At GOALS, you will...

  • Lead Go-To-Market strategies and campaigns with sharp narrative and visual aesthetics, while balancing artistic expression with business goals.
  • Be responsible for licensing and partnerships with influencers, football players, and lifestyle brands.
  • Elevate player engagement and brand awareness.
  • Monitor market trends and player feedback, leveraging insights to optimize marketing initiatives.
  • Drive Live Service marketing.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and achievement of scalable product growth with full ROAS measurement in place.

 

Ideally, you have...

  • A degree in marketing, advertising, or other relevant fields with 3+ years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Experience developing and executing the Go-to-Market for a successful game launch.
  • Experience developing and executing Live Service market plans that impact player engagement, in-game retention, and monetization.
  • Experience in promoting a yet not fully launched game by setting up partnerships and building relationships with relevant external stakeholders like brands and influencers.
  • Experience in leading and maintaining relationships with external partners: agencies, brands, influencers and so on. You have creatively directed and led all aspects of work with external partners to ensure they are aligned with project expectations and brand standards.

  

About the Employment

The position is permanent and you can work from our Stockholm office, hybrid, or fully remote from anywhere in Europe. It is important that you are able to communicate unhindered in verbal/written English.
