Saviynt is looking for smart, passionate people to join its Product team. The Product Owner manages the scrum team and drives the execution of the roadmap. This person oversees grooming and planning user stories and works through the entire lifecycle from design to development, testing, and release.The ideal candidate will be curious, have strong attention to detail, and passion for building products and customer success.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    • Feature Grooming –  Review requirements and complete an informative analysis of findings. Develop a sprint plan for the release that guides the scrum team towards goals that meet the needs of both the internal and external stakeholders. Ensure the entire scrum team has a solid understanding of the product and its capabilities to ensure company-wide success.
    • Manage sprint goals – Draft and distribute sprint plans well in advance to ensure the entire scrum team is aligned and geared towards sprint success. Answer questions and troubleshoot issues, resolve impediments throughout the sprints.
    • Practice customer-centric development – Work with stakeholders to understand their unique needs and pain points. Capture and share client feedback with the team to best investigate ways to create a solution. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure features and functionality are meeting requirements in new and innovative ways. Report the success of the products and strategize improvements needed.
    • Agile Management – Run daily rituals like scrum, backlog grooming, planning, and retrospective for a cross-functional team. Monitor the progress of issues and provide solutions for the development team.
    • Track and communicate progress – Measure performance for presentation to all stakeholders, customers, and partners.
    • Change Management – Monitor the progress and invoke the change management process in case new requirements need immediate attention or the scrum team won’t be able to meet the planned sprint goal.
    • Thought leadership -- Assume leadership in the area of your expertise. Use opportunities to feature your service or product. Build trust & recognition as an intelligent, experienced & helpful leader within your space.

WHAT YOU BRING

    • Bachelor's degree required, Masters in Engineering is preferred or a related field.
    • 4-10 years of relevant professional work experience. This should include 3+ years of experience in software security
    • Familiarity with Identity / Access Management products (Okta, Oracle, IBM, Microfocus) 
    • Should be hands-on with databases and have experience with the following programming languages: Java, BeanShell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL
    • Experience with Agile Product Management methods (sprint planning, resource management, scope, schedule and status, documentation). Advanced skillset in time management and task prioritization
    • Experience with the following web technologies: XML, SPML/SOAP, Web and Application Servers, HTML
    • Ability to translate complex problems and ideas into easily understood descriptions
    • Familiarity with RBAC.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications Passion for managing products and driving results
    • Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvements
If required for this role, you will:
- Complete security & privacy literacy and awareness training during onboarding and annually thereafter
- Review (initially and annually thereafter), understand, and adhere to Information Security/Privacy Policies and Procedures such as (but not limited to):

> Data Classification, Retention & Handling Policy
> Incident Response Policy/Procedures
> Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Policy/Procedures
> Mobile Device Policy
> Account Management Policy
> Access Control Policy
> Personnel Security Policy
> Privacy Policy
