DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Identifies and reports high quality bugs with consideration for value to the player and development partners.
Maximizes the bugs found for each area tested and delivers consistent results.
Displays efficiency in both learning and utilizing new testing tools, bug reporting systems, project-specific debug options, etc.
Educates and provides guidance to other workforce members helping them identify and report quality bugs.
Creates, follows, and maintains project checklists or test cases as needed.
Communicates with internal and external testing partners.
Identifies testing opportunities and bug trends that will improve game quality.
Applies knowledge of game design and/or programming to anticipate areas likely to contain bugs.
Adheres to corporate prototype security policies and procedures.
Coordinates certification efforts as project leaders through the entire testing process from start to finish.
Communicates as the primary contact between multiple stakeholders, facilitates transparent flow of information between internal and external partners.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
Three years of game testing or development experience.
Specialized skills that have been developed and applied to complete a wide variety of tasks.
Familiarity with MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Excellent understanding of Japanese business culture and etiquette.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, problem solving and cross-group collaboration, and analytical abilities.
Understanding of interaction between software and hardware; programming background preferred.
Experience with object-oriented programming; Python, C#, C++ preferred.
Project leadership experience.
Undergraduate degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
This position includes a base pay range of $32.45 - $51.92 per hour, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
