The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Usage Analyst to join our growing Product Operations team at Xactly. As a Product Usage Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and analyzing the usage patterns of our products to provide valuable insights that contribute to our ability to build and deliver world class solutions to our customers. This role requires a combination of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for understanding user behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of Pendo within our product ecosystem.
  • Collect and analyze product usage data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize statistical methods to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of user interactions with our products to understand user behavior, preferences, and pain points.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather user feedback and incorporate it into the analysis.
  • Monitor product feature adoption and usage metrics and proactively identify areas of underutilization and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Generate reports and dashboards on a regular cadence that effectively communicate key performance indicators related to product usage.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Work closely with the product development team to assess the impact of new features and updates on user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Provide recommendations for product improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to align on goals and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating data insights into actionable recommendations.

THE SKILL SET

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Pendo and other relevant analytics tools.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a product analytics role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with product management processes and principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Curiosity and a passion for understanding user behavior.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
