Job Description
The Product Validation Engineer II will develop precise test cases for DRC rules based on foundry decks using Virtuoso. They will collaborate closely with PE and R&D on new features and enhancements for Pegasus DRC/FILL/LVS/PERC, including deck coding and QC pattern generation. The engineer will also ensure the quality of the Pegasus physical validation tool by analyzing existing test suites, validating code changes, and integrating customer cases within the regression test suite. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of physical verification tools.
Must Have:
- Develop test cases for DRC rules using Virtuoso.
- Work with PE and R&D on Pegasus features/enhancements.
- Ensure the quality of the Pegasus physical validation tool.
- Validate code changes and integrate customer cases.
