Production Accountant

As one of our production accountants, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our internal leaders, external accounting team, finance production, and HR teams to ensure the accuracy of production spending reports and comparison to budgets! Responsibilities

You will share these responsibilities with our lead production accountant. 

• Manage accounts payable in Quickbooks Desktop
• Ensure timely payment of vendors and service providers
• Oversee review of credit card transactions and invoices 
• Reconcile monthly accounts and time-tracking software
• Recommend and implement process improvements 
• Manage and analyze financial data
• Prepare financial and  budget reports 
• Ensure accurate financial records. 
• Reconcile accounts, analyze budget variances, and manage budget revisions. 
• Coordinate operating and capital budgets, prepare financial forecasts, and conduct financial analysis.
• Additional duties as required

Skills

• 2+ years Experience with Quickbooks or other accounting software
• 2+ years Experience in a Game Development, Entertainment or Production Environment 
• Ability to handle data with a high degree of confidentiality 
• Ability to work across teams to achieve deadline driven results
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Additional Preferred Skills

• 4 year degree in business, accounting, or finance 
• Project Management certification 
• Accounting certification 

Location

• Onsite 3 days a week and up to 5 days a week during quarterly close. 

This position is five days a week and is an hour position eligible for overtime. Our strong preference is for this person to be located in our office in Orange, CA. The range for this position is $28-$35 an hour.
