Job Description

As a Production Assistant, you will support Producers in the day-to-day activities of projects, including Gundam, Pacman, and Sword Art. Your tasks include tracking the EMEA production schedule of Japanese-developed titles, ensuring deliverables are met, coordinating with various teams, updating project documentation, and coordinating post-launch content. You will also assist Producers in game evaluations and provide feedback on features. This internship offers an opportunity to familiarize yourself with production activities within an international context.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in project management or entertainment industry
  • Good knowledge in using Jira and/or Confluence
  • Knowledge of Japanese is a plus

Position

As part of the Group Production team, you will support a team of Producers in the day-to-day activities related to our projects, including titles from the following IPs : Gundam, Pacman, Sword Art, etc. as well as unannounced titles.


You will perform the following tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Work with Group Products Producers & our Japanese counterparts to track the EMEA production schedule of Japanese-developed titles
  • Help ensure deliverables are met by communicating the schedule to relevant teams (production services, marketing, digital, etc.)
  • Coordinate with various teams (QA, LOC, Marketing, etc) to communicate project information and status.
  • Help update project documentation, mainly using Confluence and other internal tools
  • Coordinate post-launch content, from planning to release.
  • Assist Producers when performing game evaluations and provide feedback on specific features or content

This position will allow the intern to familiarize himself/herself with the various areas covered by production activities within an international context.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree specialized in video game production or design
  • A first experience in project management and/or the entertainment industry is appreciated
  • Good knowledge in using Jira and/or Confluence
  • Communication skills both written and spoken in English; knowledge of Japanese is a plus
  • Interest in video games and/or Japanese culture is highly valued
  • Excellent organisational skills

Location: 15 rue Félix Mangini, 69009 LYON (this position is not eligible to full-remote working)

Contract: full-time internship for 6 months (no workstudy programs)

Start date: asap

Remuneration: dependent on degree level (from €700 up to €1,100€per month)
