They will ensure production equipment availability and product delivery according to customer demand. The role involves leading engineers and technicians, managing budgets, and executing preventive maintenance strategies based on industry standards. Responsibilities include maintaining site KPIs, recommending improvements, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance with regulations, including delivering productivity savings and contributing to site OEE goals.
Must have:
  • 10 years of Maintenance experience required
  • 7 years of Supervisor or Managerial roles experience
  • BSc in Engineering
  • Knowledge of CMMS (e.g. SAP)
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis
Good to have:
  • 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or OTC industry
  • Good presentation skills

Haleon is recruiting for a Production Maintenance Manager this role manages the Maintenance Department resources to ensure Equipment Reliability, Compliance to Safety &
Quality Haleon standards. Supports the site’s strategy by ensuring the production equipment is available to produce when needed & to deliver product per customer demand. This role leads engineers and technicians. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Maintenance, reliability and spare parts for production equipment on site.
  • Responsible for Dept. Budgets and Inventory control for Maintenance Spare Parts.
    Responsible for coaching & executing the Preventive Maintenance strategy for the site.  This will be based on Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM), Preventative Maintenance (PM) and other industry standards. 
  • Must be an SME of the site’s CMMS (SAP).
  • Plan, schedule, and provide training and coaching to team members in TPM, Planned Maintenance & Root Cause Analysis processes while maintaining efficiency at the highest possible level at the lowest possible cost consistent with prescribed quality standards.  
  • Responsible for site Maintenance KPIs. 
  • Recommend improvements and desirable modifications in methods, procedures, processes, equipment and layout. 
  • Manage vendors and consultants to ensure that contracts contain appropriate technical specifications are delivered as required. 
  • Author, review, revise, or approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) as required.
  • Responsible for on time Compliance records of Maintenance Department.
  • Deliver YoY 4% productivity savings.
  • Contribute to site OEE ambition and delivery plans.
  • Owner for Asset Replacement strategy.
  • Sponsor for appropriate capital projects
  • Adhere to all Quality Compliance standards (Data Integrity, QA, and QC, etc.)
  • Adhere to QMS policy and regulatory requirements

Required Skills Sets & Experience:

  • BSc in Engineering
  • 10 years of Maintenance experience required.  7 years minimum of Supervisor or Managerial roles. 
    Prefer 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or OTC industry
  • Good written and communication skill to communicate with all company management levels.
  • CMMS knowledge (e.g. SAP).
  • Good presentation skills
  • Root cause analysis knowledge.
