Advanced Systems Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Program Manager to empower the developer community through strategic programs and collaborative initiatives. This temporary contract role, likely converting to full-time in 2026, involves leading complex projects from initiation to closure, managing on-site logistics, developing comprehensive documentation, and demonstrating exceptional communication. The role requires strong time management, ambiguity navigation, strategic problem-solving, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills to ensure project success and foster collaboration.
Must have:
  • Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Manage all on-site program logistics and operations as needed.
  • Coordinate effectively with speakers, presenters, and other external contributors.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Demonstrate fluency in both written and verbal communication.
  • Master personal and team time management, prioritizing tasks, setting realistic deadlines.
  • Thrive in an evolving environment, defining clear paths forward.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex project issues and roadblocks efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.

  • Past experience working with vendors and agency partners
  • Proven track record of driving complex initiatives from conception to successful execution
  • Experience working within the developer ecosystem - working closely with the developer audience and/or developer community
  • PMP or equivalent certification

Advanced Systems Group LLC. is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our high-performing team and help empower the developer community through strategic programs and collaborative initiatives.

This is a temp to perm position that is likely to convert to a full-time role in 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership & Execution: Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.
  • On-Site program logistics and operations: Manage all on-site program logistics and operations as needed. Coordinate effectively with speakers, presenters, and other external contributors, managing their involvement from invitation to post-event follow-up.
  • High-Level Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk registers, and post-mortems, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.
  • Exceptional Communication: Demonstrate fluency in both written and verbal communication, effectively conveying project updates, requirements, and challenges to technical and non-technical audiences alike. This includes crafting clear, concise emails, presentations, and reports, and facilitating productive meetings.
  • Impeccable Time Management: Master personal and team time management, prioritizing tasks, setting realistic deadlines, and proactively identifying and mitigating potential schedule impacts to ensure on-time project completion.
  • Ambiguity Navigation: Thrive in an evolving environment, demonstrating the ability to define clear paths forward even when faced with incomplete information or shifting priorities. Proactively seek out necessary information and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Strategic Problem-Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex project issues and roadblocks efficiently and effectively, proposing innovative solutions and making data-driven decisions to keep projects on track.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders, including team members, program members, and senior leadership, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to minimize potential disruptions. Act as a central point of contact for inter-program dependencies, resolving conflicts and ensuring alignment.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Communications, Organizational Leadership/Development, Business Administration, etc.)
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in program management or operations
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-faceted programs
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Past experience working with vendors and agency partners
  • Proven track record of driving complex initiatives from conception to successful execution
  • Experience working within the developer ecosystem - working closely with the developer audience and/or developer community
  • PMP or equivalent certification

Compensation & Benefits:

This temporary contract role offers a salary of $145,000 - $160,000 depending on experience.
